Inclusion
Orchard is a purpose built Base for pupils on the role of the North West SILC who have a variety of severe learning difficulties. Each pupil is assigned an age appropriate mainstream class. Literacy and Numeracy are taught within the Base but we aim to provide support so that the pupils can participate in all the other mainstream lessons. We also support pupils with similar difficulties who are on the roll of Rawdon St Peters. This successful partnership depends on close co-operation and mutual understanding among all staff.
